Kayla and Blake proposal story

He took me to Martos Brewing Company in Sioux City, where we had our first date. He wanted to sit at the exact same table we had then but the weather didn't allow us to sit on the patio. He compromised with a table tucked away in a corner. He asked me about my day at work and I had barely finished explaining when he grabbed my hand, looked in my eyes and told me how happy I made him. He continued, while lowering himself down on one knee, he wanted to spend our lives together, and how much he loved me. He said, "Hey, I have a question to ask you, I'd really love to marry you!" That was a thoughtful reference back to when he asked me out on a date and texted me that he had a question to ask me but proceeded to say he'd love to take me on a date sometime. Of course, after a few weeks into our relationship I had to lovingly tease him about that. Of course I said yes and had to remind myself not just grab the ring out of the box and put it on myself so I asked him to put it on me and it fit perfectly. The staff at Martos started clapping and we had the sweetest waitress of all time! She came over and said our dinner was covered. They promptly brought over champagne and gave us a dessert. It was all so thoughtful and intimate. They celebrated with us without being overwhelming and we couldn't have been happier with the evening. His nervousness leading up to the proposal, the place we had our first date, the little inside jokes we have all added up to the perfect proposal and I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful evening or a more amazing fiancé.
