Grape Mill Winery, East Grand Forks, MN
Drew and I had been planning a date night for a while, but between bachelor and bachelorette parties for our family members, we didn't get to it. We finally returned home from all festivities and decided we needed alone time. We spent the day getting ready, and ended up at a winery close to our home town. We drove 20 miles and ended up at a rural winery that looked like a farm house. Inside the house, we each chose a glass of wine, and found simple, elegant seating away from the house close to the river. We were enjoying our time together when I (the bride) heard wind chimes -- I honestly thought the winery had put a CD on the loudpeaker. Knowing Drew's father's profession, I looked over hoping to see Mike Blake playing the vibes. Low and behold, THERE HE WAS. And when I looked back at Drew, he was down on one knee.
The bride's ring is a peach colored stone, pear shaped. The groom's ring has 7 different stones around a silver band, with a gold coating
