PROPOSAL STORY:
Joshua and I last minute decided to drive 8 hours to Denver, Colorado with a friend for a weekend get away to watch the Colorado Avalanche in the Stanley Cup Finals. We had a few extra days so we picked up another friend and traveled to my favorite mountain town, Vail. We went into the Lionshead Village and I noticed the gondola's were running and I mentioned we should take the scenic route up to the viewing deck and bar on top of the mountain. Little did I know, Joshua planned that out to a T. June 17th was the first day the gondola opened for the summer scenic route. So, we bought four tickets and headed up to the top and half way up it started to sprinkle. Once we made it to our stop, we hopped out and noticed it had cooled down and the wind had picked up along with the rain. Joshua says to me "we should take a picture over here with the snow capped mountains in the background" so, us four lined up and there was a photographer who offered to take our photos. After taking a few photos the boys said "alright now just you two" and while I turned around to fix my hair, he looked to me and said "you know I love you more than anything right?" and I looked at him and said "Yeah..." he then pulled out the ring box and there sat the most beautiful oval diamond with rose gold diamond band ring, and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. From there, we went and had a bottle of champagne to celebrate and played a round of golf at the Vail Golf Club.
