PROPOSAL STORY:
I was convinced we were simply heading to our favorite bar in downtown Omaha to celebrate a friend's birthday. Little did I know, my fiancé had been planning something far more meaningful.

When we arrived at the Wicked Rabbit, everything seemed ordinary. We walked in and my fiancé went to give the secret code to get in, but instead of saying the usual phrase he said "guava juice." I remember looking at him and laughing and saying "where did you come up with that one?" Still totally oblivious, the bar door opened and we went inside. 

As we walked in, I was immediately stunned to see our families and closest friends gathered at the end of the bar, all smiling and waiting for us. Still believing we were there for a birthday celebration, my first thought was, "whose birthday is it?" It took me a moment to put the pieces together before the realization hit me: "oh my gosh—you are proposing."

The Wicked Rabbit had been transformed into something straight out of a dream. The bar was glowing with candlelight and our favorite Black Pumas song played softly in the background as I looked around at the people who mean the most to us and realized that this moment had been thoughtfully planned with so much love.

Then, in the very place where we first met for a date, he got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. Surrounded by our family and best friends, I said yes.

We celebrated the beginning of our next chapter by popping champagne and celebrating with the people we love most. It was so special to be back where we had our first date, surrounded by friends and family, with a stunning ring, and forever to go!
