PROPOSAL STORY:
John surprised me with a beautiful scene, my own Hallmark movie, on our back porch. He sent me out to dinner with friends while he and two of his buddies were slaving away transforming our home. When I got home later that evening, there were rose petals leading to the back porch which I hesitantly followed. I felt instant ease when I saw him standing out in a Christmas wonderland waiting for me. John slowly got down on one knee and asked me to spend my forever with him. I immediately said "YES!". As we were celebrating with each other, I heard fast clicks from what sounded like a camera. I asked him if he had someone taking pictures, and he quickly responded with a witted grin, "I have another surprise for you." It was my best friend from high school who flew in for 36 hours from Colorado to surprise me and be there for this special moment. I was in awe. Following the big moment, we went to my parents house in Elk Point, SD to celebrate with both of our families. It was all I had ever dreamed of and better than I imagined.
