After being together for ten years and having a 6 month old baby boy, I thought for sure there would be no surprise in the proposal. I had suspected a proposal was coming at every minor special occasion for the past several years. However, last fall during family pictures for all of Troy’s family, he threw me for a loop and got down on one knee.
