PROPOSAL STORY:
My family spends most summer weekends at the river in Pickstown. My parents and I talked about inviting Andrew’s parents down for an evening to have supper then take the boat out for a cruise. So, after tossing the idea around for half the summer my dad and I made plans for it to happen! (Little did I know, Andrew made the plans with my dad and let me think it was my idea!) It was a HOT and HUMID July evening when Andrew’s parents came to the camper to have supper. After supper, Andrew and I and our parents jumped on the boat to take a cruise. After driving around awhile my dad said “Why don’t you guys take a picture with the sunset in the background?” I hardly had a chance to stand up and get situated before Andrew dropped to his knee and asked me to marry him! It was the most perfect engagement as we were surrounded by our parents and enjoyed the most beautiful sunset on the river!
