PROPOSAL STORY:
For as long as I can remember I have been going to Gunderson's with my mother. She went to school with Brian and Brad in Sioux City. Over the years she has gotten many Gunderson pieces some even custom designed.
At the time of proposal I had been with my fiancé for over 9 years, so of course he had heard a thing or two about Gunderson's. Naturally I had to let him know as soon as I heard there was a Gunderson's opening in Minnesota. Unbeknownst to me, he went 3 weeks after they opened.
My fiancé proposed to me on the Wednesday of our county fair week. He really wanted me to leave the fair and to come out to our family pond to enjoy the beautiful weather and sunset. It took some convincing to get me to leave but he talked me into it!! It was just the two of us standing on the fishing deck where he asked me to be his girlfriend many years prior. I could hear his heart racing as I was hugging him before he finally popped the question. My ring is exactly what I dreamed of with its beautiful baguette sides and round center diamond. I will forever be in love with my ring and where it came from.
