PROPOSAL STORY:
It was a wild day for Taylor, the bride. It was her birthday and her parents were in town from North Carolina for a long weekend to celebrate her birthday. Little did she know Bryce had something else in mind. Her mom and her future mother-in-law took her to get her nails done and go shopping for a new outfit for her "birthday dinner" with a special surprise. We went out to Table 32, both her parents, my parents, and the two of us, and sat in a special section to celebrate Taylor. As the weather started to look a little grey I had us hurry up with dinner to our surprise location still downtown. Downtown means a lot to us as Taylor and I met downtown Sioux City back in October 2019. We went over to the Warrior Hotel, to the rooftop bar a place where we always go in the summer months for a drink and great conversations dreaming about the future. We walked outside towards the end of the rooftop, where the fireplace and seats were rearranged so all there was a single rose and a ring box sitting on a table. As a Taylor Swift fan, she was distracted by the Taylor Swift song playing over the speakers to not notice the photographer taking photos of us walking up. I grabbed the rose and the ring box and got down on one knee and asked her to marry me in front of both of our parents. It was a special day that we will both remember for the rest of our lives. She said yes, and now we are planning the wedding of our dreams!
