PROPOSAL STORY:
Austin had been pushing for us to go on a weekend trip to Deluth for our year and a half anniversary. I had been pretty hesitant because I was just getting acclimated with my new job as a teacher and we were supposed to be moving into our first apartment together soon as well. After moving into our new apartment and paying the down deposit and first months rent, I told Austin that we would need to push the Deluth trip off for maybe a month. After hearing that Austin couldn’t wait another day to be engaged, so when I took a shower he sped over to his aunts house where he had been hiding the ring since July! I walked into the bedroom, still in my towel, and found him down on one knee holding the ring in his hand! His exact words when asking were, “This is the start of a new chapter for us, so let’s make it a big one. Will you marry me?”
