PROPOSAL STORY:
Andrew and I met online right after covid lockdown began. He drove down from Omaha to meet me in Kansas City for our first date. If you’d asked me prior to that day I would have told you that love at first sight was a gross and made up concept, but by the end of that first day together he and I knew we had something. Fast forward, and two years later we’re in Outer Banks in North Carolina for a summer vacation. I’d mentioned getting engaged to him a few weeks earlier and he mentioned that he thought that next year would be a good time to do it. What a liar. We’re sitting out on the beach on Fourth of July and we get up to take a picture down by the water. I’m suspecting nothing when suddenly he says my name. I look over to see him getting down on one knee, and I’m sure you can guess what happened after that.
