PROPOSAL STORY:
Darsh and I have been together for 6 years. We met in 2017 through mutual friends. My best friend at the time was dating one of his good friends (they are now married- how cool!). We have been through everything together. We really grew into our adult lives side by side. I was just starting nursing school when we met and he was just getting into real estate. We found a passion for traveling and took our first trip together to California. We moved 4 times in 3 years and we survived getting covid in early 2020 and quarantining. Eventually I graduated nursing school and started in the ICU and Darsh founded a real estate investment firm. We were both living the careers of our dreams! We adopted our "son" a cat named, Raja, who is our main source of entertainment and joy. We continued to travel all over the country and became true best friends. As we got older, we talked often about the perfect way to propose and really what we came to was something that was intimate and truly came from the heart. That is exactly what it was. One day after dinner, Darsh and I were sitting together and after talking about how much we loved each other and how we couldn't imagine a life without the other, Darsh asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes! It was exactly what I had always wanted and was something I will never forget. I feel incredibly blessed to have found my true best friend to live the rest of my life with.
