PROPOSAL STORY:
The day started out with Kennedy and Andrew going out to breakfast with a few friends, after that they spent the afternoon hanging out at Andrew’s parents house while Kennedy did some school work. Andrew’s mom and sister invited Kennedy to make some Valentine’s Day cookies with them. The previous week, Andrew suggested going snowshoeing since they had just gotten a ton of snow. Kennedy was looking forward to it all day! Since the cookies needed to cool Andrew asked if they wanted to go now and off they went. Little did Kennedy know this would be the start to one of the happiest days of her life. They started the trek into the woods when Andrew’s dad met up to them and said that there were wolf tracks over by the hunting blind hill. So they said why not see if we can find them. Once they got to the top of the hill Kennedy spotted a small campfire in the woods and just thought it was not out of the ordinary and that Andrew’s dad was just hanging out in the woods. They went to check it out and that’s when Kennedy knew. She saw a trail of rose petals and Lumineers leading up to the bonfire Kennedy turned around to Andrew with tears in her eyes and he smiled at her. They walked into the wooded area and Kennedy turned around again to see Andrew down on one knee asking Kennedy to marry him, of course Kennedy said yes. They then got to sit on a bench that is from Andrew’s grandparents house and soak it all in just the two of them, they talked about everything and sat by the fire. Alongside the fire in the trees was every picture they have taken together on string. They started to walk back to the house excited to see the family when Kennedy realized her mom and dad and sister were there as well! They spent the afternoon with their parents and talking about everything. They then planned on going to dinner the two of them for an early valentines dinner and decided to stop at Kennedy's aunts to see them! When they pulled up all of Kennedy and Andrew’s family and friends were there for a surprise engagement party that Andrew put together. It truly was the most perfect day and we couldn’t have wanted it any other way.
