PROPOSAL LOCATION:
Dan + Shay Concert, Omaha

PROPOSAL STORY:
We went to see Dan + Shay in Omaha with Kinsley’s aunt and uncle, and from the moment I found out we were going, I had this feeling it would be a night we’d remember forever. Before we made it inside, I quietly handed the ring to her aunt for safekeeping — and, of course, right after that, I set off the metal detector. Luckily, the ring was safe and sound.

As the openers played, I couldn’t help but steal glances at Kinsley, knowing what was coming. During the intermission between sets, we met her aunt and uncle on the lower concourse. It was in that moment, surrounded by music, excitement, and the people who mean the most to us, that I asked her to spend forever with me. It was the best moment of my life.

As if the night wasn’t already perfect, we stumbled upon an empty row closer to the stage. We finished the concert side by side, with an incredible view and hearts fuller than I could’ve imagined. It was a night we’ll carry with us for the rest of our lives.
