Michael and I were best friends for a couple years before we decided to let our feelings for each other be known. Everyone in our lives knew, but us!
I knew from the moment that we started dating that I wanted to marry him. When he got the text that my ring was ready was to go, he couldn’t wait to propose. I knew he had the ring and I told him to just propose to me at home, I didn’t need a giant occasion to say “yes”.
He proposed to me in our living room and I couldn’t have asked for a better moment. It was intimate with just us, and I agreed to marry my best friend!
