PROPOSAL STORY:
Our story started with a handshake. Yep, a handshake. Then Todd ghosted me for a week. I finally texted, “Did you die?”—because honestly, what else do you say? Thankfully, Todd didn’t die, just playing a little too hard to get but somehow that awkward start turned into a year and a half of laughter, adventures, and love fitting for a happily ever after.

Fast forward to the 4th of July. We had this grand plan to watch fireworks, so we showed up hours early only to circle endlessly with no open parking spots in sight. We gave up and went back to Todd’s place.

There we were, on his 6th-floor balcony, watching fireworks explode across the skyline. Todd held out a beautiful diamond ring that shimmered like the stars and said, “Will you wear this forever?” It was a promise perfectly captured by the infinity band he picked out. 

I said yes because honestly, if a guy can survive ghosting me and a handshake and still make me feel like the luckiest person alive, forever sounds pretty good!
